ELLIOTT MUSGRAVE LTD., Patternmakers & Textile Engineers

Elliott Musgrave Ltd. was founded in 1904, as patternmakers. In the following years the company developed a speciality, of making the Lattice Conveyors used in the the wool scouring and combing industry, along with various wooden accessories used in textiles, such as Doffer Brushes. Additionally, our machine shop produces "one-off" machined parts and fabricated assemblies.

Latterly, the company acquired the records, drawings and foundry pattern equipment of Petrie & McNaught Ltd., the Rochdale based builder of wool scouring machinery, and Petrie & McNaught's subsidiary company, the Patent Automatic Feeding Machine Company, and the records and designs of Pneumatic Conveyors, the Huddersfield based builder of fibre blending and preparation machinery.
